  • QuikLink Explorer (32-bit) - (2.1 MB) A "must-have" addition to your browser, QuikLink Explorer is the easiest way to organize your bookmarks. With an interface similar to Win95 Explorer, you can drag and drop your bookmarks quickly and easily between folders to organize them any way you please.   • Delivery Agent - (350K) A send-only email program for web site managers, network administrators, support personnel, etc. Delivers frequently used, customer-requested email messages (& MIME attachments).   • Pegasus Mail 32-bit - (1.3 MB) probably the best and easiest to use mail program out there -- and its FREE! I use it daily. Highly recommended. Supports mailing lists, auto-sorting of incoming mail, and much more. Homepage here.

  • Becky - (1.3 MB) an outstanding e-mail program, with easy Explorer-style drag and drop interface. Supports multiple POP3 mailboxes, auto-filtering of mail, "draft" folder for work in progress, and much more. Worth checking out. Homepage here.

  • Eudora Light - (4.0 MB)(16-bit and 32-bit) This is probably the most widely used e-mail program, but less graphically intuitive than Pegasus. Our 2nd choice for e-mail. Their homepage is here for more info.
  • Email Address Pro - (273 KB)(32-bit) Good email utility for storing mail lists, sorting email, sending out large bulk emails, and much more.

  • Free Agent (32-bit version) newsgroup reader (32-bit and 16-bit available) - (1.0 MB) far and away the best Usenet newsgroup reader. Automatically combines and decodes multi-part files and launches associated viewer application. Great for graphics and videos -- no worrying about decoding. Highly recommended. Download 16-bit here.   • WS_FTP32 (32-bit) - (1.2 MB) a quick, easy to use FTP program. Brand new Explorer interface makes it better than ever. Homepage here.

  • Absolute FTP (32-bit)(1.3 MB) AbsoluteFTP is a WinSock application for Windows 95/98/NT that makes file transfer with FTP easy. AbsoluteFTP has a familiar Windows Explorer interface with hundreds of predefined sites, a New Site Wizard and customizable file types that automate the most complex transfers. Homepage here

  • SmartFTP (32-bit)(277 KB) Full featured FTP client with Explorer-style interface with drag and drop support. Homepage here

  • Netfinger (32-bit)(1.7 MB) Faster contact with the FTP server. Regularly visited FTP servers data can be stored in a small database, hence one can connect with a double-click onto the chosen server. Homepage here

  • E-Mail Notify (16-bit) - Be notified when new e-mail has arrived without having to open your mail program.

HTML and Web Tools: .

  • HindSite - (486K) a VERY useful Navigator addition that builds an index from the sites you've visited based on your Netscape cache file. When you can't remember where you saw something, just type in a word and it brings up all the URLs you've visited that contained that word somewhere on the page. Get it! Homepage here.
  • Atom Time (32-bit)- (107K) Use this to check the atomic clock while connected to the internet. It will show you how many seconds off your system clock is, and allow you to adjust it automatically. Homepage here.

  • U-Lead GIF Animator (32-bit) - (1.5 MB) By far the best program for creating animated GIFs (the moving pictures you see on the WWW these days). Cut and paste elements from any graphics program as you build your GIF with drag and drop ease. Highly recommended. Homepage here.
  • SuperToolz (32-bit) - 17 Web related applications that will improve your productivity by helping you complete otherwise exhaustive or mundane tasks. Homepage here.
