  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (32-bit) - (5.2MB) Acrobat Reader lets you read and print from any system any document created as an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file, with its original appearance preserved. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as the author intended by anyone with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Homepage here.

  • Cyberkit (32-bit) - (943 KB) CyberKit is a set of eleven essential Internet utilities that most of us can't live without. CyberKit is a 32 bit network utility for Windows 95/98/NT. It combines Ping, TraceRoute, WhoIs, Finger, Quote of the Day, Name Server LookUp, Time Synchronizer, NetScanner, DBScanner, Check for New Mail and Keep Alive in one easy to use utility. Cyberkit is helpful and something every computer user should have. Homepage here.

  • Power Paster (32-bit) - (238KB) A great clipboard enhancer, this utility tracks and stores the last 5 items you copy to the clipboard. More importantly, it lets you save and organize hundreds of bits of text for quick pasting into later documents. Create a folder (like E-MAIL RESPONSES), give an item a name, and then save it. Anytime you want to paste it somewhere else, just bring up PowerPaster (it runs as an icon down in your System Tray), click the item, and it is instantly copied to your clipboard -- just hit CTRL-V to paste it into your other documents. This is a great tool.

  • DocSweep (32-bit) - (160KB) A simple little utility that cleans out all the recently accessed documents in your START button Documents list. Just set the maximum number of documents you want listed (0=erase all) and don't worry about leaving a trail of where you've been. Homepage here.

  • Times Own (32-bit) - (1 MB) A program to tell you what time it is now, in any time zone in the world. You add the countries or your friends names, enter the time difference (once), and you can keep it in your system tray for easy reach. Great if you use chat programs like ICQ or Messenger, or if you do business with other countries. Homepage here.

  • Screen Control (32-bit) (200 KB) - Quick access to all your screen savers: launch or preview any one, disable, randomize, etc.

  • SmartBoard - (344KB) a great clipboard enhancer. Stores the last 10 or 20 items that you cut or copy (can be text, BMP, etc) for immediate posting into other applications. Saves you from going back and forth, cutting, pasting, cutting, pasting... Also, stores frequently used items for hot-key access -- like common business letters, e-mail responses, etc. Very handy and highly recommended. Their homepage is here for the latest information.

  • ClipTrakker - (1.1MB) (32-bit) Another excellent clipboard utility. Stores all your latest entries that have been copied to your Windows clipboard. Thumbnails make organization of your favorite items easy to access. Their homepage.

  • Perfect Screens (32-bit) - (612 KB) a handy program that allows you to have virtual desktops -- jump between organized desktops with just the apps you need, just the layouts you need, just the speed launching buttons you need. Instead of a cluttered desktop, put all your graphics apps and shortcuts on one desktop, all your financial links on another, etc. Their homepage is here, for the latest versions.
  • DeskView32 (32-bit) - (178KB) This should have been built-in to Win95 -- a small icon in your system tray that gives you instant access to all your Desktop files, folders, and shortcuts. Click it to bring up a pop-up list, then click to jump to anything on your desktop. No need to minimize all open windows to find your desktop. Bravo!
  • PowerStrip - (220KB) One of the handiest utilities I use everyday. It's a small strip (you can put in anywhere on your desktop) than shows the time and free resources. Right-click it to bring up the option menu -- dial your phone from your stored phone-list, play audio CDs, keep a ToDo list, use the calculator or calendar, check free disk space on your drives, etc.. Very small, fast, and useful.
