Dog Beds Review and Buying Guide:

If you are a dog owner and care about your animals like we do then you know how important it is to buy your dog a decent bed (which nowadays can be cheap, indestructible, and chew proof - yeah). I remember when I was a kid and our Black Lab would just sleep outside in her dog house or on our living room floor, basically anywhere my family was sitting at the time was good enough for the dog. Today many pet owners are buying custom, designer, heated, even leather dog beds for their best friends to relax in and get a decent nights sleep. Even though you might think that it is just your dog and it doesn't matter where they sleep, the truth is that buying a dog bed of any sort (couch, outdoor, fleece, pillow, foam) is a great investment for you and your pets. Remember to clean your dogs bed often to help keep away the fleas, ticks, anything that might be unhealthy for your pet to be in contact with. Like people, as dogs get older their body and bones start to ache and get sore which means they would love a soft (cushion or foam bed) spot to sleep in. It is not uncommon for pet owners to spend a large amount of money on dog products and accessories, one of which is the popular dog bed. We looked at hundreds of pet supply (and dog bed stores) stores online and found that there are dog beds for every breed (Akita, Terrier, Lab, Shepherd, Beagle, Boxer, Collie, Retriever, etc.) and every size dog (mini, small, medium, large, extra large, etc.) so be assured you can find the perfect bed for your puppy. Depending on your budget and the type of dog you own you can expect to pay between $39 and $500 for a comfortable dog bed. Some of the more popular dog bed brands (manufacturers) are Orvis, Woolrich, Kuranda, Pet Safe, K&H Manufacturing, and Canine Cushion.

Steps To Clean A Dog Bed:

1. Once a day remove any blankets or bedding and give them a good shake
2. Every week wash the bed and blankets with a mild detergent (because some dogs have skin and allergy issues)
3. Once a year you should throw out all the bedding and wash the cushions to ensure their cleanliness
