Baby Stroller Reviews:

Finding and buying the right baby stroller is not always that easy. New parents are bombarded with advice from other parents and parenting magazines advertise a variety of strollers - car seat strollers, double strollers, travel stroller systems, jogging strollers, etc. Which one is best for your needs? As a parent of 2 children, I can only tell you that you will probably end up with multiple strollers in your house - each with it's own unique purpose. We originally bought a full featured stroller for our day to day needs with the infant. Then we moved on to the umbrella strollers which are lightweight and easy to take into parks and malls. When my wife wanted to get back into some exercise we then proceeded to buy a jogging stroller which left us at 3 strollers in all. Total cost was probably close to $500 but at least we got to use them all over again with our second child.

Choosing Baby Strollers - Selecting the Best Stroller

Strollers are probably the most needed baby item when it comes to parenting. Number 1 is a crib, but having a quality stroller so you don't have to carry your newborn or toddler all over stores and parking lots is a huge benefit. Modern strollers are designed to make the lives of parents easier with cup holders, reclining seats, storage areas down below, travel systems that allow the babies car seat to attach directly to the stroller, and much more. I personally like how compact the full featured strollers have become so now you can stuff them into your sedans trunk and they fit fine. Also, the umbrella strollers are very convenient when you are out in the hot sun or perhaps caught outside during a rain shower. As we mentioned above, each style of stroller essentially fills one particular need, although some serve multiple purposes. As our kids got older we used the umbrella stroller on trips since it was lightweight and easy to travel with. The one hand folding strollers are great for moms or dads who may not have an extra set of hands to work with. Reclining strollers are perfect for those times when you are out and your little one goes down for a nap. Also, you want a stroller that is easy to maneuver even in tight areas (stores, elevators, pathways, etc.). We found some excellent stroller reviews in magazines like Consumer Reports and Parenting. Online there are dozens of websites that keep tabs on the latest models and owner feedback and comments can be found at Amazon.com Walmart.com, Target, and Epinions. It's a good idea to see what others have to say about a particular brand or model before purchasing.
