Where can I order free catalogs?:

We all like getting the mail when our favorite catalog shows up each month with Victoria's Secret, Crutchfield, Mrs. Fields, Spiegel, Disney, Sundance, Newport News, or whatever it may be. There is one site dedicated to getting you free catalogs from your favorite stores. Just go to Catalogs.com and search their database, when you find something you like, just fill out the online form and get the catalog sent directly to your address. No fees, no shipping cost, just free. Catalog shopping has been around for decades and even with the advance of the internet catalog mail orders are still huge business (some habits die hard). Online shopping will someday overtake all the mail order catalogs, but for now getting free catalogs is still the way to go. Catalogs.com offers the #1 catalog delivered to homes across America, the JC Penney catalog. They also offer catalogs on gardening, clothing, christmas, wholesale items, fishing, and much more. If you know the website say for your favoite store (like Sears), you can always just go to Sears.com and order their catalog directly.

Mail Order Catalogs?:

Victoria's Secret is perhaps the most recognized mail order catalog around. It's meant for women, but men love to look at this one as well. The Victoria's Secret Christmas catalog is a great gift catalog for men to look through for the significant other in their lives. The customer service reps are great at helping you determine the right size for each item. Men are notoriously bad at knowing the size that their wife/girlfriend wears and that is one of the deterrent of shopping online versus actually calling and ordering via a regular mail order catalog. Crutchfield is another classic consumer electronic catalog that has been coming to homes across America for decades and letting people sit back at home and order stereos, speakers, cd players, etc. right through the mail instead of going to the store. Now that the internet has evolved, mail order catalogs may be a thing of the past, especially with the new Google service that we talk about below.

What are the best catalog? Sears? JC Penney?:

Housewives have been using the catalogs from Sears and JC Penneys for years to do research before purchasing major household items like dishwashers, refrigerators, couches, beds, etc. With more women working these days and the internet, many of these catalogs are losing their appeal when it's just as easy to go online and do the research and not have to wait for the old fashioned catalog to show up in the mail. Even with the technological advances (the internet is essentially one big online catalog), people still love the Sears and JC Penney catalogs. There's something about seeing a quality picture of the product you want or being able to walk around your house with the catalog and imagine how things would look in your home once you buy them. I know I would be at a loss for good reading material while in the bathroom. Sears and JC Penney both offer variations to their catalogs online at their websites now and I'm sure in a few years catalogs won't even exist (much like LP's in the music industry) via the mail order tradition.

Which is the best Garden Catalog?:

Gardening has become a popular pasttime for many of us with hectic work schedules and limited time to relax. Gardening is a nice getaway from all the madness and it gives everyone a chance to create something beautiful right in their own yards. There is so much variety in plants, flowers, gazebos, and flowerbeds. Gardening catalogs are popping up all over looking to get your business. We found the garden catalogs and give you the websites below:

Googles Catalog Section?:

Google has taken catalog shopping to the next level. You can go to the Google Catalog Search site HERE, and begin looking at catalogs that have been scanned into their database in all types of categories. It's just in its beta stage, but I found it to be amazing simple and easy to view. Just browse their categories of Apparel & Accessories, Computers, Education, consumer Electronics, Sports & Outdoors, Toys & Hobbies, etc. and then pick your favorite catalog company like Crutchfield, JC Penney, Sears, Newport News, Disney, Spiegel, Victoria's Secret, Ikea, Chadwicks, and 100's more. Each page is viewable with the prices, pictures, catalog order #'s and any special seasonal discount rates. No more having to wait for a catalog in the mail with this new service.
