Reviews of the 2007 Acura Cars - TL - RL - NSX:Acura has an exciting new line of 2007 cars including the Acura RL. The RL has 290 HP, a 3.5 liter engine, with a V6 VTEC and all wheel drive. It starts at $49300 and comes with a navigation system, dual climate control, and much more making the RL a true luxury car. The seats are comfortable and have presets so that each driver has their own setting. The 5-speed transmission allows for smooth acceleration and the braking system lets you ease through corners and keep control. The Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system on the RL helps steer the car to keep maximum maneuverability through corners. The tamer Acura TL starts at $33325 and offers up a 258 horsepower, 3.2 liter V-6 VTEC engine.
SUV's - 2007 Acura MDX:The 2007 Acura MDX is a nice mid-range SUV for $37125. Although it lacks a V8 engine like some of it's competitors (Chevy Tahoe, Yukon), the MDX produces ample power with a 253 HP, 3.5 liter V6 engine. The 7 passenger seating arrangement allows for enough legroom in the first 2 rows, but only enough for children in the 3rd row. There is ample storage space for carrying bikes, boxes, pets, etc. The Acura MDX comes with side curtain airbags and rollover sensors. Leather interiors make the MDX a comfortable experience along with many other luxury features only found on higher priced SUV's. Although we found the Chevy Tahoe and Yukon to offer more storage space, the MDX holds its own with easy around town driving and more comfortable seats. We recommend driving a variety of SUV's in order to determine what is more important (looks, space, luxury, mileage).
Acura RSX and TSXAcura makes popular smaller sedans (Acura Integra was a best selling car for years). The 2007 TSX starts at $27890 The 205 horsepower is a nice upgrade from last years model and the 6-speed manual transmission gives you up to 22 MPG in the city and about 30 MPG on the highway. With todays gas prices, that kind of mileage needs to considered. With a sporty look and safety features to match, the TSX is a great mid-priced sedan. The dual front airbags and side curtain airbags along with ABS and impact-absorbing crumple zones make the TSX safe for all family members. The less expensive ($20325) RSX is a 2 door that comes in both a manual and automatic transmission. With 155 HP on the base model, the car is quick and handles well.
Future Acura Cars - RDX - MDX ConceptAcura is currently working on a RDX Prototype with voice recognition nagivation system and AcuraLink satellite communication with the latest traffic reports and road conditions. A new engine and transmission should give the RDX enough power and handling to satisfy any driver. The MD-X is an ever changing concept car that will lead Acura into the next decade with technology breakthroughs for SUV's and increased luxury and style.
