Reviews of the 2006 Chrysler 300:

Chrysler hadn't made this model in decades and they reintroduced it again with the 2005 Chrysler 300 which instantly gained popularity. The 2006 300 is truly a work of art with 7 models to choose from ranging in price from $24450 to $42695. The 300C/RWD is a great deal at $34400 with a 5.7 liter HEMI Multi Displacement Engine that can generate 340 HP and 390 LBs-FT of torque. You get a 5-Speed Automatic W5A580 Transmission and fuel economy ranging from 14-21 city and 20-28 highway. 2006 Chrysler 300 C SRT-8 offers the largest engine with a 6.1 liter V8 that generates up to 425 HP. That's the type of power you see on the racetrack. User reviews have been nothing but positive so far, but the newest Chrysler 300 is in the early stages and we will see how they perform in a year or 2. Keep reading for more information on pictures, wallpapers, and other specs.

If you want to see pictures of the legendary Chrsyler 300, try DieselStation.com or Wallpaperworld.com. Back to the car itself, the overall comfortable ride, excellent handling, acceleration and passenger room make this a winner. On the other hand, the drawbacks include fuel economy in the 300C and slower acceleration in the V6 model. Rear visibility can also be an issue. We feel that the Chrysler 300 performs well in almost all areas and would like to see them dwindle down the 8 models to perhaps 4 eliminating the v6 which takes away from the cars performance. Other cars in this price range and style are the Lexus 430, Mercedes 350, and the Mercedes s500. You can get a more thorough review along with lots of pictures and features/specs on each model at Chrysler.com/300. The 2007 Chrysler 300 is what we are waiting for as they slowly refine this brilliant piece of machinery.

Used Chrysler 300:

Buying a used Chrysler 300 can certainly save you the sticker price others are paying for these popular cars out of the showroom. As with any used car, you want to do some research and find the right seller before plunking down $1000's on a used vehicle. An excellent website to start at is Chyrsler300site.com since they offer a great history of the car with classifieds on cars and parts. You can also buy books about vintage Chrysler 300's to the modern 2006 Chrysler 300. If you are looking for more information on vintage Chrysler 300's, then we also suggest going to Chrysler300Club.com for a content rich site with photos, details on restoration and local clubs in your area. Ebay Motors has some for sale at the time of this writing in various states. You can always bid on your favorite year or model.

Chrysler 300 Accessory

If you own a Chrysler 300, then you know it comes with some pretty cool features already, like the old style chrome grille. Putting additional accessories on the Chrysler 300 is something that many owners get involved with. They get custom wood interior packages, specialized chrome grilles, port holes, headlight covers, embroidered floor mats, spoilers, conversion kits, body kits, and fender trim. We recommend using online websites to get your accessory items for the cheapest possible and then have a local shop put them on for you. Try Wooddashexperts.com or Autotrucktoys.com/300.

Chrysler 300 Parts and Service:

If you own a performance car or a classic, eventually you will need to purchase parts. It's all part of the fun of owning an exotic car. The Chrysler 300 is exotic and parts are readily available online through sites like Partstrain.com, Carjunky.com or American-Truck-Auto.com. All parts are guaranteed by the manufacturers and you can get 24 shipping on rush orders. As we have found, the more expensive the car, the pricier the parts. So far, the durability of the newer Chrysler 300's is good, but be prepared for repairs if you drive your car hard.
