Reviews of the 2006 Dodge Charger - 2007 Dodge Charger:

Before we review the current lineup of Dodge Chargers, let's go back over 25 years to 1968 when the Dodge Charger first became popular during the muscle car years. The Dodge Charger had a nice run until gas prices deterred the production of muscle cars and it wasn't until 2005 when Dodge reintroduced the Dodge Charger and it is a hot seller these days. With pricing starting at $23245 for the Dodge Charger SE, you can get behind the wheel of 250 HP V6 engine and relive those heydays. The Daytona R/T model gives you a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 Engine with MDS and 340 hp with dual exhaust and induction all for just $33070. Of course with the latest oil/gas crisis on our hands, the 2007 Dodge Charger could be the last we see of this car again. You can follow the latest production details at Dodge.com/charger/.

If you are going to get a Dodge Charger, at least consider the SRT8 model with 17/25 (city/highway) mpg. Starts at less than $40K and you get a real racecar with a 6.1 liter HEMI V8 engine - 425 horsepower, 420 lb-ft of torque. Dodge had to put on Goodyear F1 high performance tires to handle all that power. Dodge offers a nice picture gallery with both interior and exterior photos of the latest Dodge Charger on the website. For some high quality wallpaper pictures of the 2006 Dodge Charger, check out Dodgeboy.net in their vehicle news section. Looking for wallpaper images of older Dodge Chargers, then check out Seriouswheels.com or Stockmopar.com. We feel that the main competition for the 2007 Dodge Charger will come from the Pontiac Grand Prix, Nissan Maxima, and Chevy Impala. With the long history of the Dodge Charger, we still prefer it to all the others.

Used Dodge Chargers - 1968-1970:

If you have never seen a 1969 Dodge Charger, think of the "Dukes of Hazzard" car from the tv show or movie. It had the old stock car look with a huge, powerful engine that could smoke the tires even when you went from first to second gear. That's some raw power from the original HEMi engines. If you are in the market to buy a used 1968-1970 Dodge Charger, we recommend starting your search online at Oldride.com/classic_cars/. You can search by year, make, model and find something that fits your budget. Many of these cars are now classics and can fetch up to $100,000 or more with the proper detailing and restorations. For a while the old Corvettes were what classic car buffs were buying up and now it's changed over to the Dodge Chargers and Dodge Challengers. Other sites that carry classic cars are located at Musclecars-and-classic.com and Classiccar.com. If you just want to research these cars and find out details on maintenance and how to renovate them try Buyclassiccars.com and Musclecarguide.com. We also found an excellent site lots of wallpaper images of the 1969 Dodge Charger, 1968 Dodge Charger and 1970 Dodge Charger at JBCarpages.com.

Dodge Charger Parts - Dodge Charger Accessory:

When it comes to cars with horsepower and torque, you need parts that are reliable and durable. If your stock parts break, then try buying online at HighHorsePerformance.com with a huge inventory of 2006 Dodge Charger parts as well as any other year you can think of. Allpar.com is another excellent reference site with maintenance and repair manuals, forums and help boards, and part information for restorations. When it comes to accessory items, no website provides more Dodge Charger accessories than ChargerConcepts.com. They offer chrome trim, doorhandle trim, grilles, bumpers, bike racks, fender vents, dash kits, exhaust systems, intake systems, rear spoilers, and remote starters. Your car will come away looking like a street legal racecar. Our favorite accessory item on almost any car are the rims. The Dodge Charger TIS Premium Luxury Wheels Series 01 -- Sizes 20" & 22" cost about $400-$500 and the Magnaflow Dodge Charger SRT-8 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Dual Exhaust System 6.1L Hemi goes for $887. Customizing new cars is not cheap and fixing old cars is even more expensive.
