The classic 2006 Jeep Wrangler starts at $19050 and is still the only true off road ready 4X4 convertible. The 2006 Wrangler has a long heritage dating back to the Willys Jeep. You can get the Wrangler SE, X, Sport, Unlimited, Rubicon or the Unlimited Rubicon models. The Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon comes withe double the cargo space, a quieter ride, a Sunrider sunroof, Rock-Trac 4WD and a Quadra Coil suspension. It prices out at $29395. Nothing compares to a Jeep Wrangler except perhaps the new 2007 Jeep Wrangler with improved safety and performance. It comes with impact protection, side airbags, and an electronic stability program for smooth maneuvering. The 2007 Jeep Wrangler offers a 3.8 liter engine with 200+ hp and a V6.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is still our favorite with the SRT8 starting at $39995. The Grand Cherokee Laredo comes with a V6 3.7 liter engine and much less expensive price tag of $28110. The Laredo performs well, but we still like the Overland better with a 5.7 liter hemi engine, DVD Navigational system and Quadra Drive II 4 WD. If you want a jeep that looks good in the city and can handle a little off roading, then the Jeep Liberty should do. It's offered in the Sport, Limited or Renegade models The Liberty Limited is reasonably priced at $25340 and offers the comforts of a sedan with the toughness of an SUV. With improved safety features and performance from a V6 210 HP engine, the Liberty comes ready to play.

2006 Jeep Commander - Jeep Compass:

The 2006 Jeep Commander supplies the driver with power, technology, capability, safety and comfort. The versatility and style top off the features which make the Jeep Commander a favorite in reviews. The Jeep Commander comes in a variety of options and includes one with a 4.7 liter V8 MPI Engine as well as one with a 5.7 liter HEMI. With prices ranging from $29130 all the way up to $39250, test driving these is the only way to determine what is best. For more around town driving we recommend the Jeep Commander 4X4 for $30385 but if you want to get outdoors and enjoy off roading the 2006 Jeep Commander Limited 4X4 at $39250 would be an excellent choice. The 2007 Jeep Compass is here to revolutionize how we think of jeeps. The Jeep Compass comes loaded with a fuel efficient engine, yet still provides a powerful engine for having fun, and latest styling make this a good looking jeep. The improved interior will feel like a sedan with heated seats and lumbar support. We recommend the 2007 Jeep Compass to anyone who likes jeeps but wants a good family car for driving around town.

Jeep KJ Lift

Lift kits are popular add ons for many Jeeps and the KJ Lift is what many Jeep Liberty owners have bought for around $250. Lifts on jeeps help give you a little more clearence when going over rough terrain like rocks and boulders. The one site that we found to be the most informative and therefore useful was Boulderbars.com which provided all the KJ products, but specifically the KJ LIft for the Jeep Liberty.
