Reviews of the 2006/2007 Nissan Trucks - Titan - Frontier:The 2006 Nissan Frontier is just what you would expect from Nissan. Solid, sturdy, durable, and reliable. Nissan describes the Frontier as "One of the most powerful mid-size trucks on the road. Equipped with a 265-hp 4.0-L V6 engine and up to 6,500 lbs max towing capacity. Off-road technologies like an available locking rear differential. The uncompromising full-size strength of Titan's F-Alpha fully boxed frame. The nearly infinite bed-organizing utility of the available Utili-track cargo system." The Frontier XE King Cab sells for $15900 and the top end LE King Cab/Crew Cab goes for $22650.
Nissan SUV's and Minivans (2006 and 2007) - Xterra - Murano - Pathfinder - Quest - Armada:The Nissan Murano is the most popular of the SUV's they offer. The low end model starts at $27600 and the SE goes for $31700. We prefer the mid-range SL which has an MSRP of $29150. The SL comes standard with a 3.5 liter V6 delivering 245 HP and 246 lb-ft of torque. The Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) allows for a smooth ride both in the city and highway. The Murano looks very similar to the Lexus or Acura Suv's in many ways. If you want something more powerful, the Nissan Armada should be your choice. The 305 horsepower V8 can handle up to 9100 lbs of towing capacity. The Armada starts at $34700 (SE) and the LE is $40000. 3 rows of seating make room for all gatherings and you can tell just by looking at the Armada it is well built and sturdy. For a smaller family, the Xterra will do the job nicely. With a smaller, boxier shape, the Xterra can maneuver threw town fine and has the power to handle outdoor adventure as well. Starts at $20050 with 4 models to choose from. The SE is $25750. The Nissan Pathfinder has been around for waht seems to be forever. The style has changed a bit and the 2006 Pathfinder brings 270 HP, a 4.0 liter V6 engine and 3rd row seating for up to 7 passengers. The SE Off Road Pathfinder was our favorite for under $32K. They have delivered enough power and kept the smaller engine for better gas mileage than other SUV's on the market. Need a minivan that has great gas mileage, entertainment for the kids, and a smooth ride around town, then look no further than the Nissan Quest. There are 4 models to choose from ranging from $24150-$33650. The 3.5 S Special Edition at $25450 had many features that our family wanted and the price seemed very reasonable. The crash safety records are near the top and innovative design and technology used in the 2006 model make this a proven winner.
