Reviews of the 2007 Volkswagen Beetle - New VW Beetle:
The new 2007 Volkswagen Beetle has added many new features and optional equipment previously not available on older VW Beetle models. The 2007 VW Beetle has redesigned head and taillights, an optional power sunroof, power side mirrors with integrated blinkers, optional fog lights, and 17" alloy wheels. The interior has a redesigned center console, HomeLink system (great for programming garage doors, alarms, etc with no remotes to work about), CD/MP3 sound system, and plenty of chrome detailing. There are 2 engine options to give you plenty of horsepower if needed. The 1.9L TDI 100 HP engine has a new pump injector system called Pumpe Duse, more horespower and torque than previous models, and cleaner air emissions. The Tiptronic transmission makes driving fun with the 2.5L 150 HP 20-valve engine. The aluminum alloy cylinder head design was copied from the Lamborghini Gallaro V10. The new Beetle car starts at $17180 and the TDI engine option pumps the price up to $18390. For more details on the 2007 VW Beetle, go to Vw.com/newbeetle/.
For the lazy days of summer or year round conditions in places like California or Florida, the new Beetle convertible is ideal. Small and compact enough to maneuver through cities with ease, the 2.5L 150 HP engine also performs solidly on the open road and is great for road trips (especially along the coast). Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) keeps the wheels from skidding and the Electronic Differential Lock powers the wheels so they can stick to the road. The 2007 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible starts at $22120 and we recommend it over the regular Beetle car. Why not have the stylish appeal of a convertible for just a little more. Owner reviews have been positive with very little negative feedback on the convertible (no leaking issues to speak of yet). You can view photos and videos of the Beetle convertible online at Vw.com/newbeetlecon/. VW has put together a nice sequence of pictures showing the available colors and interior features. There is even a side by side comparison section of the site which allows you to pull up other similar vehicles and see how their features match up with the new Beetle from Volkswagen. Find out which features rated highest and are most popular.
