Very seamless process and quite a new way of thinking (would you expect anything less from Apple). The Mac Mini comes with software like iLife 06, Front Row, Big Bang Board Games, Comic Life, OmniOutliner, and applications like Quicken for Mac 2006 and Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac. The ultimate desktop computer from Apple is the Power Mac G5. This computer is priced from $1999-$3299 and comes with the dual-core PowerPC G5 processor, support for 30-inch displays on all models, and gives you dual gigabit ethernet ports. There is also a Power Mac G5 Quad with 2 dual core processors, the speed and performance is incredible. It is so customizable that you can have up to 16GB of memory and 1 terabyte of storage. Althougth Macs are expensive, the customer loyalty and satisfaction remains even after all the years of PC makers trying to get the last 5% of Mac users to switch over. Used Apple Computers - Discount Deals:If you are looking for an Apple computer at a discount, you will have a long search. It is pretty much common knowledge that Apple does not allow retailers to re-price Apple systems arbitrarily. This means that the price of a new Apple computer would probably be the same no matter where you buy it. The only thing retailers do is give you incentives and add-on like free RAM, printers, carrying case, etc to get you to buy from them. Beside Apple Stores, you can get Apple computers at BestBuy, Fry's Electronics, and Wolf Camera. If you want a used Apple computer, that is another story. Apple Computer Software:Quicktime is the most famous Apple software that works on both PC's and Macs. It allows you to watch movie files, great for the latest trailers from Hollywood movies or just watching your home videos stored on your PC/Mac. Unfortunately, most computer software is still written strictly for PC's and Mac owners have a hard time getting some software.
