By buying online, you save time, gas money, and the frustration of driving back and forth to a few stores or the mall. OfficeMax has everything from computer supplies (blank CDs, USB flash drives, etc.) to elementary school supplies (paper, glue sticks, markers, rulers). A 4-pack of glue sticks goes for $1.13, a dozen fine point Sharpie markers will set you back $4. Kids scissors are $1.13, a 24 pack of Crayola crayons -- $1.39. With prices this good, it is easy to pick up your whole shopping list without breaking the bank. For orders over $50, delivery is free, right to your door. That beats heading out to the local shopping center or mall!Back to School SalesTarget.com also has a pretty decent selection of supplies for the school year, offering binders, tapes, pens, paper, labels, organizers, calculators, and all kinds of desk accessories. Staples.com has a lot of back to school special sales and savings as well. A 24 pack of Crayola crayons for just $.99, large color poster board at less than $1 per sheet, construction paper, chalk and colored pencils, pencil boxes (99 cents for translucent Staples box). Again, for orders of $50 or more, delivery is normally free. So keep that in mind as you move more and more to the idea of shopping online to save time and money - free delivery is often available, so you can easily save a few bucks in gas and at least one hour of time (or more) by shopping for your school supplies online this year.
