Disney PrincessesBack when Walt Disney started with his first animated film, Snow White, the idea of Disney Princesses didn't exist. Over time, as more and more movies came out with female heroines, Disney got smart and decided to turn the Disney Princesses into a BRAND. Belle from Beauty and the Beast became a princess, Pocahontas became a princess -- you get the idea. Little girls around the world are now enchanted by princess parties, princess room decor, Disney princess toys and books. Disney Princess Coloring Pages - Coloring BooksDisney has been kind enough to put up a few princess coloring pages that you can print out at home and let your kids color in. Go to http://disney.go.com/magicartist/coloring/princess/index.html to check it out. They have pictures of Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Jasmine from Aladdin, Ariel, Snow White. Just click the picture you want and print. The selection is not huge, but it is really just meant as some extra material on the larger Disney Princess site. You can also use the DisneyPrincess.com URL to access the site. Coloringpages.net also has a collection of printable coloring pages of Ariel, Beauty and the Beast, and a few other Disney classics. Amazon has some Disney Princess coloring books available for purchase as well, at about $3 each.
Disney Princess Wallpaper - Gallery - PicturesKids love to spice up their computer desktop wallpaper with free Disney Princess Wallpaper images. DisneyThemes.com has a variety of Disney Princess wallpaper for download - Tinkerbell, Snow White, etc. You can even get real wallpaper to hang on your walls at home - borders as well. Check out InteriorMall.com for its selection of princess wallpaper and borders, or USAWallpaper.com. DisneyFriends.net also has some Disney Princess Gallery pictures and wallpaper, with 64 pictures just from Aladdin. For Disney Princess Calendars, check out Calendars.com - they offer mini wall calendars for $4, larger wall calendars for $12-$15, and address books for $16. If you're interested in additional room decor, you can also find princess bedding, pillows, comforters, toothbrush sets, the works!Disney Princess GamesThe main, official Disney Princess site (DisneyPrincess.com) offers a variety of entertainment options. They list their Disney Princess DVDs for sale, Princess Stories that come with book and audio CD, Princess Enchanted Tales, a Princess Party Game that you can play online, and several other Disney Princess games, like Disney Princess Challenge, Which Princess are you?, Cinderella's until the stroke of midnight, Snow White's Way to Whistle Game, Ariel Water Ballet, and Jasmine's Flying High Game. As an example, the Jasmine game is a pretty simple verion of Breakout, with Jasmine bouncing off a flying carpet trying to "pop" little jewels. OK for a 4 or 5 year old, but not much challenge for a bigger child. In Ariel's Water Ballet, you select from a set of dance moves, choose your music, and watch Ariel perform somersaults and twists underwater as she dances for you.
