Best Girls Toy Dolls:Dolls have been around for centuries but while they used to be homemade now they are mass produced and marketed to all age groups of girls (some are made for boys but much harder to find). Usually a littler girls first real gift is a doll of some sort, often a little baby doll that she can take care of. Perhaps the most recognized doll of them all is Barbie. She was first introduced in the 1950's as a cute, slender doll that has evolved over the years into a modern women with clothing accessories that must # in the 1000's. In recent years we have seen the American Girl and Bratz dolls get more attention with younger girls and amazingly enough the Cabbage Patch dolls are still around years after their sudden stardom where parents were reportedly spending $100's during the holiday/Christmas season to purchase the dolls that would normally have cost $20-$30. Most Barbies and other dolls cost about $20 these days and can be bought at most large retailers or on the Internet.
Doll Clothing - Dress:When it comes to doll clothes it hard buying certain sizes since it seems that all dolls these days are different heights and weights. I find myself trying to help my daughter dress her dolls but all the clothing has been jumbled together between the different brands that now it's hard to find things that fit. They literally carry almost any brand of dolls you can think of - Barbie, American Girl, Bitty Baby, Cabbage Patch, Ken, GI Joe, Beanie Babies, My Twinn and clothes even for stuffed animals. The hand made doll clothes are designed beautifully and come with doll clothes hangers. They offer doll dresses, beach wear, sleep wear, coats, shoes, costumes, accessory items, pants, shorts, and a nice collection of vintage Barbie clothes like evening gowns, house dresses. They are one of the few sites we found carry boys dolls clothes for Ken and GI Joe. Get camoflouge suits, tuxedos, fishing outfits, velour jumpsuits, boxers, shorts, pajamas. Collectible Dolls - Antique Dolls:Doll collecting is a popular hobby done mostly by older women. Girls do get involved in this, but usually on a lessor scale and with much cheaper dolls. Although the site is what not that easy to browse through (the site design needs to be better), we did find lots of classic dolls that any collector would want in their collection. Most dolls were less than $100, but we did find some around $500.
