Victoria's Secret:

Victoria's Secret is perhaps the most famous retailer of women's lingerie products including bras, panties, thongs, babydolls, robes, and much more. There are roughly 900 retail stores in the United States for Victoria's Secret and they did over $2.4 billion in sales for the calendar year of 2005. The company was started back in 1977 by Roy Raymond who realized how awkward it was for men to shop for lingerie for their girlfriends or wives in stores. The stores were successful and the Victoria's Secret catalog followed soon after. The catalog has been arriving in homes across America for decades now and men and women enjoy looking through it. Frederick's of Hollywood is one of the competitors of Victoria's Secret, but they have never gained the attention from consumers that VS has.

Victoria's Secret models have become famous over the years through their fashion shows and by being on the front cover of the catalog. Victoria's Secret has consistently used supermodels in their advertising and lingerie shows to help promote their line of products. Famous models like Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ana Beatriz Barros, Gisele Bundchen, Laetitia Casta, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Oluchi Onweagba, Daniela Pestova, and Fernanda Tavares.
