You can use a stovetop or microwave oven to prepare them for eating. Some of the breakfast foods include scrambled eggs, apple cinnamon oatmeal, chocolate chip granola bar, blueberry muffin. For lunch they offer cheese tortellini, soups, sliced ham, turkey hot dogs, peanut butter, tuna salad, noodles and many more. For dinner try their chili with beans, mushroom risotto, pasta, chicken, beef tacos, etc. The desserts include puddings, popcorn, cookies, pretzels, flavored soy chips, and lots of tasty treats. We did some reports that the food didn't taste as good as it's advertised too, which is a common complaint with all food that weight loss programs promise.

How does Nutrisystem stack up against other diet plans like Jenny Craig, Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet, or Weight Watchers? One big difference between the Jenny Craig program and the Nutrisystem plan is that Nutrisystem focuses on the "good" carbs or those with low glycemic values which can help those with diabetes. The Jenny Craig diet doesn't necessarily limit the "bad" carbs in their meal plans which could lead your insulin and blood sugar levels to raise significantly causing a buildup of fat storage. No diet plan is perfect, but some are suited for certain types of people more than others.
