Coffee Table Review and Buying Guide:The coffee table is something that every home has, whether you are rich or poor there always seems to be a coffee table in the family room. Some of the brand name coffee tables are Tropitone, Kinfine, Lifestyle, and Huffy just to name a few. Nowadays with a little hard work and research you can expect to pay between $150 and $1000 for a new coffee table. I recently walked in to a furniture store here in Las Vegas and I was overwhelmed by all the choices when it comes to coffee tables. They had contemporary coffee tables, leather coffee tables, rustic tables, and even a fishtank coffee table (yeah I was surprised also). If you like to window shop then you might hit up a place like Levitz, Ikea, or Ashley furniture where you can see the various displays on the floor. It is good sometimes to see a table in a staged environment to help give you an idea of how the coffee table will fit in your house. For those of you who have kids, you might want to consider them when buying a coffee table - mostly for safety reasons. How to Decide What Shape or Design For Your Coffee Table?:Buying a coffe table can be difficult, not because you can't find a good one, but there are just so many options when it comes to the shape you want. Do you want a round coffee table, square, oval, rectangular, unique, small, large, etc.? The first thing to consider when buying a coffee table is where you are going to put it in your house (you must have a design plan). Most families put their coffee and end tables in the family room or living room, as it just depends on the size and layout of your house. If you have children it is a good idea to buy a coffee table that has round edges and is safe (for example a soft wood material would be better than glass). A good rule to follow is that your coffee table should be about half the size of your couch or sofa. If you buy some antique coffee table that looks great with all your books and art pieces on it, but it is to big for your room it's just gonna be impractical. The idea is to make the coffee table useful by positioning it in a way that doesn't interfere with the rest of the furniture in the room. The most common coffee table for sale is the square version (with a drawer or cabinet) that fits into pretty much any room in the house.
Aquarium - Fish Tank Coffee Table:If you like to be a little different you might consider buying an aquarium coffee table for your next house. We searched many websites and found the cheapest price to be around $450.00 for an aquarium coffee table (plus a lot of upkeep). I personally would not recommend buying a fish tank coffee table because it just seems like you are asking for trouble. We did review a couple of the popular models though in case you want to know more about this design. 1.
