Let's face it, who doesn't like to step into a hot shower and feel that warm water run down your nude body. I usually take a 20 minute shower every morning before I go to work and without it I'd be a mess (I need the hot water to wake me up). Some people hate taking showers and would rather sit in a nice hot bath tub, but for me I'd always prefer a hot and steamy shower. When it comes time to select what shower doors are going to be in your bathroom it can become a confusing situation. There are so many options for shower doors like sliding doors, glass doors, enclosed doors, and frameless doors that you really need to plan ahead and envision what you want your bathroom to look like. If you go cheap and install the shower door yourself you can probably get by for less than $600.00, on the other hand if you buy a quality product and have it installed for you it could cost closer to $1500.00. The internet is a great place to start your search for any shower product, but Home Depot or Lowes are also a good place to look for your ideal shower doors. Some of the popular shower door manufacturers are Sterling, Century, Kohler, and Maxx. Hopefully our reviews below will help you decide on what's best for your home.

Shower Door Installation - Shower Door Repair & Parts:
Would you like to replace your shower door? How about installing a new shower door? If you are good with tools and DIY projects then installing a shower door yourself might be a good idea , but if you are not a handyman then you might consider having your shower door professionally installed (which could involve reomoving the old broken door, hinge, and wheel track). If you want to try installing a shower door yourself then check out thisoldhouse.com where you can look up "shower door install" and find all the necessary information you will need. Their website offers step by step instructions (along with pictures) that go over things like materials, tools, and planning ahead. If you would rather hire a professional then we recommend you check out lowes.com where you can request a price quote for installing a shower. If you are just looking for a shower handle, towel rack, wheels, or some other part for your shower then Lowes is also a great place to look for any repair (or replacement) item. I recently replaced my shower head and the wheels on the bottom of the sliding shower doors, but if the repair was anything bigger I'd just hire somebody to do it right. If you attempt to fix your shower (doors, seal, tile, etc.) and screw it up it could cost you a lot of money down the road so be careful and realistic before attempting a major repair.
