For out bathrooms we have had great use of the Kohler K-16102-4 Lavatory Double Handle Faucet ($264) and the Kohler K-139 Lavatory Single Handle Faucet ($357). Although both are pricy, the money we have saved over the years with no repairs makes up for it. Other top models from American Standard include the American Standard AS2980 Whirlpool Faucet ($203) and the American Standard AS4275551CP Two Handle Kitchen Faucet 4-Hole ($68). Keep in mind that price isn't always that important in determining how well it will work. I spent a lot on a Moen that only gives me problems while I saved a bunch on my Delta faucet and it works great. If we could buy any faucet, then Price Pfister is our choice. They offer unique designs with rustic finishes great for kitchens as well as bathrooms. Their Avalon bath collection and Contempra Bath collection are inspiring works of art. The Amherst and Treviso kitchen collections are beautiful and sturdy. Peerless faucets are more basic, but work just as well as any other brand. There classic centerset bath faucets are well known and the Peerless Classic Kitchen Pull-Out Faucet for $138 can't be beat. Chicago Faucets has an excellent selection of kitchen sink faucets with pot fillers, counter mount, undermount, and wall mount options. Ask your local home improvement store about them, since not all stores are carrying their products yet. As for Grohe faucets, their shower heads are the highest standard. The new Grohe Movario shower products line looks innovative and ergonomic. The line includes shower heads, hand showers and accessory items. Parts are harder to find for Grohe products since they are not made in the US.
