That was the first item on our wedding registry since we knew they last forever and are an essential appliance in any modern kitchen. The Artisan Series of Tilt Head Stand Mixers is perfect for any home. The Accolade 400 series sells for $329 and offers a locking tilt head design that will mix up to 7 lbs of mashed potatoes. The quality contruction and ease of use make these mixers perfect for all your baking and mixing needs. The bowl lift stand mixers are a little more commercial and are designed to mix "thick batters and heavy dough". The Commercial 5 Series ($545) features a 5-quart brushed stainless steel bowl with handle.
Kitchen Aid Countertop Appliances - Food Processors - Blender - Coffee Maker - Toaster:Any good home chef needs top quality countertop appliances and Kitchen Aid delivers the best. Their food processor line includes the Chef's Chopper Series ($49.99) in the 3-cup capacity food choppers. The 7-Cup Capacity Food Processors include the KFP720 ($119) and the KFP710 ($99). The only 9-Cup Capacity food processor was the KFP740 ($199) which is perfect for making bread with a dough blade that kneads and mixes yeast dough for bread or pizza. The 12-Cup food processors are huge and we prefer the Ultra Wide Mouth Feed Tube and Pusher for $269 which features the industry's largest feed tube and a powerful motor. Need a blender that will crush ice at any speed and has a durable motor, then Kitchen Aid is your brand. There blender blades are made of stainless steel that don't corrode and all jars and lids are dishwasher safe. The top selling Kitchen Aid blenders are the Ultra Power Glass Jar 5 Speed models like KSB5C ($129+), KSB5 ($129), and KSB5PK ($129). The Professionals Blender (Model #: KSB5SS) sells for $149. Kitchen Aid coffee makers produce great flavors everyone you brew a fresh pot of coffee. The Pro Line Series Dual Carafe Coffee Maker ($399) offers commercial performance with great results. Kitchen Aid offers 2-Slice and 4-Slice toasters that retail from $69-$369. Our preference is their 2 Extra Wide Slots Classic Style toaster for $69.99. Most times you only need toast for 2 and they work so quickly that even if you need 4 or more slices it only takes a few minutes.Kitchen Aid Dishwashers:Kitchen Aid is much more than appliances and mixers, they create some of the most modern dishwashers on the market. Their new line of dishwashers are quieter and more versatile than the previous models. The current features on almost all their dishwashers include adjustable racks, flexible loading options, digital sensor detection for any cleaning challenge, and a sound reduction system that eliminates all sounds related to the dishwasher. Their I Series offer "Whisper Quiet Insulation" and are Energy Star qualified. There are 4 models in the I Series - KUDI02CR ($649-$749), KUDI02FR ($749), KUDI02FRSS ($949), and the KUDI02IR ($599-$699). The P Series includes Whisper Quiet Plus and 4 cycles and all are Energy Star qualified. The models are KUDP02CR ($799+), KUDP02FR ($949), KUDP02FRSS ($1149), KUDP02SR ($949), KUDP02SRSS ($1149), KUDP02IR ($749+). The S Series is a step up with Whisper Quiet Insulation (the quietest available), a flexible rack system and 5 cycles. The U Series Dishwashers from Kitchen Aid are the KUDU02FR ($1199) and the KUDU02FRSS ($1399). Many of Kitchen Aids dishwashers can be found at Sears.com or online at AjMadison.com.Kitchen Aid Refrigerators:Want a top of the line refrigerator, then consider one of the Kitchen Aid built-in refrigerators, freestanding refrigerators, or undercounter & drawer refrigerators. Kitchen Aid offers side by side dispensing built in refrigerators, side by side non dispensing fridges and freezer on the bottom options. The prices are high, but the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. Customers seem to like the Architect Series the best with the AquaSense In-Door Ice maker. Most units start at $5000 and go up to $7000. Their freestanding refrigerator series are much more affordable and sold at major stores like HomeDepot or Sears. We prefer the Kitchen Aid Side-by-Side Freestanding Refrigerator (Superba) for $2399. The Stainless steel look makes any kitchen brighter and with 21.7 Cubic Feet of space, it's perfect for a family of 4.
