Kubota Tractor Reviews and Buying Guide:Kubota tractors were first sold in the United States back in 1969 and today there are over 1000 authorized dealers who sell their tractors, lawn mowers, garden tractors, lawn tractors, and compact tractors. Although they do offer larger farm tractors and construction equipment, we want to focus on their residential lawn tractors, garden tractors and mowers. The T Series are their lawn tractors great for those with larger yards that need a solid piece of machinery to mow their lawn. The GR and G series are the Kubota garden tractors that go beyond traditional grass cutting and offers addtional features. Lastly, they offer the F Series (front mount mowers) and the popular Z Series (zero-turn mowers) that work in residential as well as commercial settings. You may be more familiar with John Deere and Craftsman brands since they are carried in stores like Sears, but Kubota has distribution similar to Stihl (makes chainsaws, trimmers, etc.) in that they are not sold in major retailers. You will need to located a Kubota dealer to buy their products.
Kubota Lawn Tractor:Kubota offers their T Series of lawn tractors great for residential mowing and the engines range from 15 to 18 horsepower. The Kubota T1770 is "quick and versatile" says Lawn Domain and the 17 HP V-twin engine supplies plenty of power. The 44 inch deck is wide enough for most lawns the contoured blades make grass cutting a breeze. There are lots of controls at your fingertips when at the drivers seats. Adjust the speed, deck height, cutting height, or disposal type with the flip of a button. Experts say that for the money, it outperforms the John Deere LX277. The T1770 will cost you about $4000 and it comes with a 2 year warranty. Other similar models from Kubota include the T1570, T1670, and T1870. The added feature of the T1770 that many owners like is the snow-blower function which many consumers prefer in snowy climates.Kubota Garden Tractor:When it comes to garden tractors from Kubota, their GR and G series perform admirably and get excellent reviews. The Kubota GR2100 gets top ratings on several sites from experts as well as consumers for it's durability and at close to $8000 you would expect that. The GR2100 is an all-wheel drive garden tractor that is rugged enough to handle heavy-duty attachments like an aerator or plough blade. More than just a lawn tractor, the Kubota 2100 has a 3 cylinder 21 HP engine with a hydrostatic transmission that runs smooth. The high back suspension seat, HST pedal, cruise control, and shaft drive make this a garden tractor that is easy to maneuver (almost as good as the John Deere X304). The GR2100 and GR2000 can be used as a two-stage snowblower as well.Kubota Zero Turn Mowers:Zero turn riding lawn mowers are the latest thing in the industry and the Kubota ZD21 rates 10 out of 10 with several reviewers on the Compacttractorreview.com website. The Kubota ZD21 costs about $9500-$10500 depending on where you buy it at, but owners have nothing but praise for this model. Consumers say the ZD21 scores well in performance and reliability and one even says it's a "mowing machine". They say it mows even, turns easy, and drives smoothly. Many consumers say the Kubota zero turn mower is the best on the market and outdoes those by John Deere, New Holland, Exmark, and Cub Cadet. Other similar models from Kubota include the ZD18F, ZD25F, ZD28F, ZD-PRO, ZG20, ZG23, and the new line of diesel mowers (ZD321, ZD326, ZD331). For maneuverability, nothing beats a zero-turn mower. Work great in residential and commercial use.
Kubota Compact Tractor:If you need more than a lawn mower, consider the extensive line of sub-compact and compact tractors offered by Kubota. The Kubota B7800 is an excellent compact tractor with 3 speed ranges, a 3 point hitch capacity, PTO, HST, power steering, a 30 HP engine, long wheel base with wide tread, and full flat deck which makes driving this tractor easy. Although Kubota does offer other smaller tractors, the B7800 rates the highest and is the most popular choice amongst those with smaller properties.
