Arizona Cardinals - Team History and Players:I suppose the best news for the 2009/2010 Arizona Cardinals season is that ticket sales are going strong as the team tries to go one step better this year and win the SuperBowl. Last year they came very close with a heartbreaking loss to the Steelers in the last seconds of the game. The other good news is that the team and city are excited for the season to start with all the young talent the Cardinals have amassed lately with top players like Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Tim Hightower, Matt Leinart, and proven veterans like Kurt Warner. The new Arizona Cardinals stadium is an open air stadium that has a retractable roof for closed conditions. The Cardinals have a tough 2009 schedule with dates against division rivals Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, and the San Francisco 49er's. With all the roster moves and off season acquisitions, the Arizona Cardinals could have a winning record this year and actually make some noise in the playoffs. Kurt Warner has gotten off to a hot start this season and with his Super Bowl experience he could take the team very far if he stays healthy. The website HERE is dedicated just to the Cardinal cheerleaders with appearances, alumni, team photos, auditions, cheerleader of the week, and bios on the women. Perhaps they will create an Arizona Cardinal cheerleader calendar this year to have for sale. Many of teams in the NFL offer this type of merchandise and they are huge sellers around the league. We are hoping that with the influx of talented players and perhaps a winning season or 2 that more fans will create sites dedicated to the Arizona Cardinals. For a less fan based site, go with the more local news related site at http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/. They offer information on the new stadium, how to get Cardinals scores and news sent to your cell phone, draft news, multimedia files, game day matchups, and fantasy football tools so you can create your own league. Another new site just added here (Sept 2009) is HERE - it's called the Voice of the Cardinals and it's a blog on the Arizona Cardinals team and players.
