Cleveland Cavalier Players, History:The Cleveland Cavaliers have finally put themselves in a position to win games, now that Lebron James is their leader and NBA Star. The Cavaliers have been around since 1970 and had some good teams in the past. A great place for Cavs history is Cavshistory.com where you will find everything from player news, team history, past coaches and even a weblog. In the 70's they had World B. Free, in the 80's it was Mark Price, and in 2006 it's now Lebron James leading the way. If the Cavaliers can play consistent and if Zydrunas Ilgauskas plays up to his potential, they have a good chance to go deep into the playoffs. Lebron James is already being compared to Michael Jordan and in a lot of ways he is like Jordan. Lebron is smart, athletic, and young which makes him hard to play against or guard. Lebron James may not lead Cleveland to a title this year, but over the next 4 or 5 years Cleveland has a great chance to win a ring.
