Dallas Cowboy History:The Cowboys are a recognized name around the world for NFL football. For years they have been called "America's Team". They have won several Superbowls with players like Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Troy Aikmen, Emmitt Smith, Too Tall Jones, and the list goes on and on. The Cowboys website offers the latest statistics, schedule, depth chart, roster, standing, and injuries at Dallascowboys.com. The team has started the 2009-10 season with a 1-1 record. Everyone thought Tony Romo would lead the Cowboys to the SuperBowl but that has not happened yet in Dallas. Terrell Owens was released and signed by the Buffalo Bills so players like Marion Barber, Felix Jones, Jason Witten, or Roy Williams will have to step up and perform. We will have to see how things play out for 2009, but 2010 could be on Cowboy fans minds if they continue losing at this pace.
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Wallpaper and Calendars:Which cheerleading team in the NFL had a movie done after them? Right, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. They are such a sensation in terms of popularity that they even have their own website at Dallascowboyscheerleaders.com. The cheerleader section has information and pictures in categories like - appearances, swimsuit calendar, auditions, history, and current news. They have pictures dating back to the 1968 squad of the Cowboy cheerleaders (included men back then). The swimsuit calendar is the big deal each year and it's no different for 2009-10. The 2010 DCC Swimsuit Calendar is available online at the Cowboys store and sells for $16.99. There are some great pictures in the calendar. Check out the photo gallery on the site, there are high quality images and some you can download. The cheerleaders are truly a money making machine off the field. If you are more interested in downloading players wallpaper images go into the "Fans" section on the Cowboys website to find Dallas Cowboy wallpaper images of Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, Demarcus Ware, Jason Witten, Marion Barber, Terence Newman. They also offer something called a "screen server" which is a free screensaver that automatically updates on your desktop with new info.
Fan sites:A team always can figure out their popularity based on how many quality fan sites exist online. The Cowboys have plenty. The best we found was at TheBoys.com. Excellent collection of stats, forums, ticket info, current standings, trade rumors, etc. Insidecowboys.com has articles written by professional journalists about the season and the team. Another favorite of ours is Dallascowboysfanclub.com with current articles and areas where fans can post their own comments and feedback on the team and players.
