Baseball Bat Reviews and Price Guide:

America still loves baseball and currently everybody is watching as Barry Bonds gets closer to breaking the all time home run record (held by Hank Aaron). I played Little League baseball for 5 seasons (I quit before High School) and was a pretty good catcher, but I couldn't hit worth a darn. I think my batting average was like .200 which is not good especially in Little League where most kids hit above .250. I eventually got into basketball and that became my passion, but I still love watching baseball and attending Dodger games when I'm in Los Angeles. Having a good baseball bat is crucial for anybody (kids, women, professionals) who wants to be a decent hitter and nowadays you can expect to pay about $150.00 for a good bat. If you are shopping for a bat for you child then you can find something closer to $50 or $75, but buying a more expensive bat can certainly give your kid an edge when it matters most. We reviewed many of the big name manufacturers that make baseball bats like Rawlings, Demarini, and Easton so check out our reviews below. Hopefully our research will help you find the best baseball bat for your situation - we even reviewed some softball bats.

Easton & Demarini Baseball Bats:

It's hard to believe that almost 20 years have gone by since I last swung a bat in a Little League game. I used to use an Easton bat and they are still a very popular brand with baseball players today. Demarini and Rawlings are 2 other big bat manufacturers that are very popular in America. We reviewed a lot of websites that sell baseball bats and have displayed the results here. 1. Wood Bats / Rawlings Wooden Bats:

Wooden bats are what the players in the major leagues use, so that should be your goal as a hitter - to be a good hitter with a wooden bat. Some kids in the youth leagues try to hit with a wooden bat, but it's very hard to use a wood bat and that's why even most college players use aluminum style bats. Once you get to the major league every ball player knows that you have to hit with a wooden bat so it's good to start practicing early on in your hitting career. Read our reviews below to give you a better idea about what kind of bat might be right for you. 1. Rawlings Wood Baseball Bat Black - perfect bat to collect autographs and to practice your rookie swing, this is certainly not a Louisville Slugger but it's only $30.00. 2. Louisville Slugger TPS Catalyst Softball Bat - features multiple layers of aerospace grade graphite and S-glass fibers, Lisa Fernandez and Jessica Mendoza of the Olympic Softball Team use this bat comes in size 30-34 - $219.00. 4. Baseball Bat Display Case, Gloves, Bag, Rack, Holder, etc.:

Do you own a signed or autographed piece of baseball memorabilia? Maybe you have an expensive baseball bat or glove? Buying a display case for a valuable baseball bat can be a good idea, and well worth the investment in the long run. Memorylanesports.com sells a wide of variety of display cases that you can buy for between $70 and $250. Their most popular case sells for $149.99 and is desk ready or wall mountable, measures 41 1/2"W x 8 1/4"H x 5"D and comes in wood or black frame with a mirrored back case. If you are in need of a baseball bat rack, bag, or holder then I recommend you try nextag.com where you can compare prices on multiple items at once. Equipment to protect your bat is not cheap and you can expect to pay about $25.00 for a decent rack, while a decent bat bag or holder will cost about $30.00. If you own 2 more bats (plus helmets and gloves) then we highly recommend you buy a carrying bag because it will save you many headaches down the road. Every baseball player knows how good it feels to hit a home run, but remember first you need to get your bat to the baseball park.
