Jacksonville Jaguars History:This young NFL franchise started in 1995 and they have been successful with playoff appearances, but no SuperBowls yet. With standout players like Mark Brunell, Jimmy Smith, Brian Leftwich and Fred Taylor leading the squad in the past, the Jaguars built up a supportive crowd at Alltel Stadium. The current lineup includes David Garrard at quarterback, Maurice Jones Drew at running back, and Torry Holt at wide receiver. The team is currently doing ok, but the playoffs may be a stretch this year. Well see how 2009-10 season goes. Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleaders: Wallpaper and Calendars:The Jacksonville Jaguar Cheerleaders are a class act with a new 2009-2010 Roar Calendar available for $13. Each month features a new girl from the squad on your wall and you get 16 months worth on the calendar. They even offer a video section on the making of the Roar Swimsuit Calendar. There are bios and pictures of all the girls on the cheerleading team. As for players, you can find wallpaper images of team logos and top players like Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones Drew, David Garrard, and Paul Spicer. Be sure to check back to the official Jaguars site often since they update their Fan Zone section with the latest pictures, wallpaper, and screensavers from recent games. There is even a section to Jaguars ringtones and wallpapers for your cell phones.
Fan sites:Finding a great fan site is what the internet offers for teams like Jacksonville. There are plenty, but the best we found was at Jagszone.com with editorials on team play, forums for fan discussions on the latest games, players, and rumors. Complete breakdowns of head to head matchups with division rivals and a nice section dedicated to team apparel (hats, coats, jackets, etc). Another excellent site is offered at Jaguars.Jacksonville.com with fantasy football signups, Jaguars trivia, fan polls, message boards, and interactive features.
