Memphis Grizzlies Players / Franchise/ History / Logo:
Are you a basketball fan, do you love the NBA? If so you are on the right website to expand your knowledge on the game we all love. If you live in Memphis I assume you are a Grizzlies fan, right? The Grizzlies became a part of the NBA in 1995 as an expansion team and have yet to reach their potential. Memphis plays their home games at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee and sometimes have sellouts depending on who is in town. The Grizzlies play in the Western Conference in the Southwest Division. The 1st season in Memphis was below average for a basketball team (even though it was their rookie year as a franchise) who had players like Bryant Reeves and Chris Jackson. The Grizzlies had the worst record in the league their 1st year and the late 1990's didn't get much better even though they added Antonio Daniels, Mike Bibby. In 2001 the Grizzlies drafted Paul Gasol and added Shane Battier, but again it was just not enough talent in a professional league like the NBA. in the 2002-2003 season Hubie Brown took over as coach and took the Grizzlies to the NBA playoffs (a 1st for the franchise and team). For complete Grizzlies history check out nba.com/grizzlies. The Grizzlies have the unfortunate record for most consecutive playoff games lost, 12 and counting. Look for Mike Miller to help carry the load this season.
Memphis Grizzlies Dancers - Cheerleaders:
Memphis has some beautiful women and the Grizzlies Dancers are no different. The Memphis Grizzlies Dancers are a tight group of 18 women from all over the country (who love to entertain and dance). Some of this years popular dancers are Amanda, Ashley, Beth, Brooke, Carmen, Cassie, Erica, Julie, and Sheena. For more info on the dance team and the extra activities they take part in check out their fan site at nba.com/grizzlies/dance/section_index.html.
