Reggie Jackson led the team to the early 70's World Series and other great players have included Tony Armas, Mark McGwire, Jose Canseco, Vida Blue, Dennis Eckersley, Rollie Fingers, Jason Giambi, Ricky Henderson, Tim Hudson, and Dave Stewart. Pitching has always been the cornerstone of this club but the "bash brothers" in the late 80's and early 90's certainly did their damage as well.
