Tim Duncan is their best player and is considered by many to be the best player in the NBA. Tim Duncan is an amazing forward/center and he plays with heart and skill unmatched by anyone in the NBA. He has had some good talent around him over the last few years with players like, Tony Parker, Robert Horry, Manu Ginobli, and a great coaching staff. The San Antonio Spurs are a favorite to win the NBA Title in 2005 and it looks like their only competition will be the Detroit Pistons. The Spurs play with consistency and defense which has made them an NBA Champion and the team to beat in 2005-2006. With Tim Duncan playing up to his potential don't count on Kobe and The Lakers to beat them in the playoffs.
