How to Get Cheap Airfare - Cheap Airfare Ticket:

Want to find cheap airfare to Las Vegas or cheap airfare to Europe? There are travel secrets and tips that the pros know and have been passed along over the years. The most important thing to do in order to get cheap airfares is be flexible on your travel dates. Often leaving a day earlier or later can save 25% or more. Travelocity has a "flexible travel dates" finder and Orbitz offers a similar travel tool on their site. Signing up for a fare watcher with Yahoo or your favorite airline site can save big $$'s as well. Book your flight at least 2 weeks in advance (3 if you can do it) for domestic and 1 month for international flights. Each day that goes by airfares often go up $20 or $30. The old myth of staying over on a Saturday night to save on the airfare is no longer a requirement. The cheapest days to travel are often on a Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday. That leads us to the next travel tip, fly midweek if possible - as in leave on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and and return on a similar day. Fly into neighboring airports when possible. Try Newark, NJ instead of La Guardia, NY. Another rule is never fly one way if you don't have to - it turns out that flying round trip is most likely cheaper (go figure). Stay away from airports on travel holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day. When flying into Europe, go into London first and then get a second flight into the smaller cities in Europe from there. The best sites for the cheapest airfares are Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, and Priceline. Jetblue and SouthWest Airlines are usually not listed on those travel sites, so visit them individually to see what they offer.

When it comes to travel, we talked with road warriors (true businessmen and women) to find out how they get the best flights offered on all major airlines. For cheap fares at the last minute, they all recommended using Hotwire, Sidestep, or Travelzoo's Net Fares. For specific places like Canada, search for cheap airfare at Aircanada.com or Alaskaair.com. If you want to get cheap business class and first class airfare, try going to Accessfares.com. They specialize in selling discounted first class airfare and business class airfare to all International destinations (up to 60% off). Cheap airfare to Hawaii or discounted airfare to Florida is not always available, but we found that Tripadvisor.com and Bestfares.com were the best online resources for finding cheap airfares to destinations like Manila, Italy, Germany, Australia, Paris, India, Orlando, and Atlanta. Often you get a package deal with hotel and rental car that saves you money (more than if you booked all 3 things separately). Statravel.com is a great site focused on students that travel. Get cheapt student airfares, budget hotels, and tons of travel discounts. The travel industry has changed dramatically since 9/11 and eventhough fuel prices have gone up, there are still countless deals to be had via the Internet.

Last Minute Cheap Airfare Deals:

All airlines want to sell out every seat on the plane even if they have to practically give away the last few seats with less demand at times. If they can get $150 for a seat it's better than getting nothing at all. They just don't want you to know that and act like they are in the position to "stick it to you" when you try to book at the last minute. With the Internet, last minute cheap airfare is alive and well. Sites are setup just to handle the last minutes travel customers who need cheap seats. Lowestfare.com and Travelzoo are 2 of my favorite sites when I want to go somewhere with less than 7 days notice. Travelzoo has a fare watcher program that I get via email with last second airfares that can be dirt cheap (you need to be flexible of course). It's become tricky business for airlines who used to just charge you $2000 for a flight from San Francisco to Chicago at the last minute, but now with increased competition from Southwest Airlines and Jetblue, they can't get away with it. Plus, there are dozens of online websites that cater to procrastinators and helping them search for cheap airfares. Stay away from travel agents who claim to have the best "last minute airfares" available. We have found many of those fares to still be way too high, you are better off with the Internet and searching on your own.

How To Get The Cheapest Airline Airfare using Robots?

A cheap airline airfare robot works like a search engine and searches through webpages gathering information on flight times, airline ticket costs, and additional flight information. Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline and Cheap Flights are the best known cheap airfare finder robots. Firstly, search the sites listed in the sentence above for the flight you want. Write down the flight numbers and airline information and then go to Ebay.com and search for the airline name and the word discount, coupon, or certificate. Many of the flight discounts save you from $50-$100 (about 10% of the value) and make sure the coupon can be used on the airlines website. The discount code can be emailed to you and you can use the coupon code to get your cheap airfare. We found 1000's of monthly searches online for topics like "cheap airfare business class robot" and "cheap airfare international robot".
