Get deals on tickets to theme parks like Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, and Walt Disney World as well as Wet N Wild and the Kennedy Space Center. No sense in paying full price on anything since there are so many ways to save on a Disney Vacation before you even get there.Disneyland vs DisneyworldI guess the first question to answer is where do you live. Why travel from California to Florida for a Disney Vacation when you can go to Anaheim and save on airfare, etc. Visit the park which is closest to your home to save money. Secondly, consider what you want from the vacation because both offer something a little different. Disneyland has both California Adventure park and Disneyland both side by side for easy access and the hotels are right next door as well. Whereas Disneyworld is a little more isolated with shuttle or monorail service from most major hotels to the park entrance. Both parks offer some great siteseeing opportunities outside the major park attactions. Los Angeles area has beaches, Sea World down the freeway a few hours, Hollywood, etc. While Orlando area has more theme parks, water parks, Kennedy Space Center and beaches too. I prefer Disneyworld with much more for a family to do besides just go to the park itself. Do your research online and talk with a travel agent if need be to determine which fits your family best.
Where can I find a rental home for a Disney Vacation?:If hotels aren't your cup of tea, then renting a home for a Disney Vacation can easily be worth the money. Getting a Disney Vacation rental can actually save you money and give you some space to relax at the end of a long day instead of being in a cramped hotel room. We suggest renting a home for a Disney vacation if you plan on staying more than say 3 days. Most homes rent for a week anyways, so you need to stick around for a while. Orlando has 100's of vacation homes to rent that are near Disney. Home in the Anaheim area may be harder to come by, but they too should be available for rent if you go to Disneyland. We suggest trying the following sites for rental homes, Vacation Rentals By Owner (VRBO.com) or Orlando Vacation Rentals.Is a Disney Cruise Vacation worth it?:A Disney Cruise Line Vacation is somewhat of a new product offered by Disney. The Disney Wonder sails to Nassau in the Bahamas. There are 3 day cruises and 4 day cruises to choose from with packages that also include a 3 or 4 day stay at Walt Disney World Resort before your voyage. The Disney Magic also cruises to the Eastern Caribbean, the Western Caribbean, and Castaway Cay. The staterooms are large, the dining rooms are themed, and there are activities for both adults and kids. Each night there is a special Disney show offered on the cruise and your favorite characters will make appearances. If you want the ultimate in family vacations, then the Disney Cruise Line is a perfect choice. It's over the top Disney style.
