The Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Casino have become household names across the world. I remember the 1st time I went to a Hard Rock Cafe in 1995 while I was on vacation in London. The Hard Rock Cafe just has a very cool and relaxed vibe to it, not to mention interesting memorabilia and decorations. Now that I live in Las Vegas it seems like I'm at The Hard Rock Casino every week because I have so much fun there partying and hanging out with my friends. The Hard Rock is in major cities like New York, Dallas, Orlando, London, Las Vegas, and Chicago, but it seems like every year they open a new cafe or casino so maybe there will be a Hard Rock Hotel in your hometown next year. The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas caters to the younger crowd (under 40 years old) with awesome nightclubs and restaurants that are open year round. My favorite part of The Hard Rock in Vegas is the center bar and The Joint where I have probably seen over 15 concerts and spent about $10,000 while living in Vegas. We have reviewed the top bars and restaurants that The Hard Rock offers, so hopefully our review will save you some time and money as you plan your vacation to Las Vegas. Just remember that the weather in Las Vegas is extremely hot in the summer and that being on vacation in Las Vegas can get very expensive (with taxi rides, meals, lodging, drinks, etc.).
Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant - Merchandise:
Are you thinking about going to The Hard Rock Cafe? The Hard Rock Cafe is famous for it's international locations in 36 countries with 143 restaurants to date. Hard Rock Cafe was very popular in the 80's when tourists would travel to as many locations as possible and buy a t shirt from each cafe to put in their collection. I used to own a t shirt from Hard Rock Jerusalem and believe me the shirt drew questions from complete strangers every time I wore it. The 1st Hard Rock Cafe was opened in London and since then there have been cafe's opened in places like Paris, Indonesia, Vegas, San Francisco, and Tampa Bay. The food at the Hard Rock Cafe is decent, but you can't expect a gourment meal at a cafe when you are paying $10 or $15 a meal. If you are interested in buying a Hard Rock hat, t shirt, or just finding out about the Hard Rock in your local area check out hardrock.com.
Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas Rooms and Concert Tickets:
Do you want to book a room or suite at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas? One thing to consider is that Las Vegas is always busy so if you are planning a trip to Vegas you should make a room reservation NOW. If you stay at The Hard Rock on say May 7th and 8th then you would pay $380.00 for your 2 night stay. Sometimes The Hard Rock has promotions and special deals on rooms where you can stay for just $99.00 a night. The rooms at The Hard Rock come with the following standard amenities: air conditioning, alarm clock, radio, remote-controlled 42-inch plasma TVs, movies, mini bar, desk, electronic door locks, hair dryer, telephone and voice mail. You must be 21 years or older to reserve a room at The Hard Rock and you are going to need a valid credit card to bill your room to. They offer some beautiful suites and amazing rooms (one room has a bowling alley in it) if you can afford to live like a high roller while you're on vacation. I have stayed at The Hard Rock and I'm pretty sure that you will be happy in any room you happen to stay in, just bring a good attitude and an appetite for a party. If you want to make room reservations or just check room rates and availability then check out vegas.com/resorts/hardrock/index.html. If you love going to concerts and want to attend a show while you are in Vegas you definitely need to check out The Joint. The Joint is an awesome live music venue in The Hard Rock where you can see some big name bands like Green Day, Guns and Roses, The Killers, etc. as they rock the house. Tickets usually cost between $30 and $150 a ticket although it really just depends on what band is playing (Blues Traveler tickets were $30 while Guns and Roses tix were $175.00). If you want to buy tickets to an upcoming concert then go to the official Hard Rock website for more information, you can find it at hardrockhotel.com.
Hard Rock Hotel Nightclubs & Restaurants:
The Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas is known for many things, but as a local resident I would say its best feature is the nightclubs and nightlife. The Hard Rock clubs include Body English, Rehab, The Joint, and of course the center bar that is just incredible. All the clubs at The Hard Rock do have a cover charge so be aware that you will probably have to pay to get in to the club (after you wait in line for an hour or two). At The Joint for example the cover charge could range from $30 to see Blues Traveler this weekend, all the way up to $175 for a ticket I bought last year to see Guns and Roses in concert. If you want to get information on the nightclubs in The Hard Rock then check out hardrockhotel.com which is their official website online. Body English is a full on nightclub where you can dance and party the night away. I have been to Body English a few times and I thought it was a bit cheesy. It's your typical Vegas club with doormen who think they are important and drinks that cost you $10 each. Normally you will wait in line for an hour just to get into the club and if you are not a hot girl you are gonna pay a cover charge of about $20 per person. The Hard Rock has a center bar that is a lot of fun and it's always crowded (a younger crowd between 21-38), but drinks here still cost $6 or more. The Hard Rock also offers a little sports book and bar where you can hang out for free and watch a good baseball game while you are on vacation. For more information on the club scene in Vegas and some tips on having fun check out vegas.com/traveltips/guide/clubbie.html.The restaurants in the Hard Rock are perfect for any Vegas visitor. They have AJ's Steakhouse, Mr. Lucky's, Nobu, Pink Taco, and Simon Kitchen and Bar. If you want a nice dinner then I would recommend AJ's where you can enjoy a nice steak and some cool music (they have a live jazz band) with your meal, but if you want something cheap and quick then I'd try My. Lucky's where you can get a good club sandwhich for under $10.00.
Hard Rock Las Vegas Spa - Pool - Shopping:
Summer is almost here and that means fun in the sun at The Hard Rock Pool in Vegas. The pool at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas is legendary for its beach like atmosphere, beautiful women, great music, and of course Rehab. Rehab is a pool party that takes place every Sunday from 12 noon until late at night when you just can't party anymore. Rehab is an amazing time and if you are a cute girl you can get in for free, if you are a guy you can expect to pay about a $30 cover charge unless you are staying at the hotel and then you might get a better deal. I live in Las Vegas so I go to the pool regularly in the summer to enjoy the sun and girls, but Rehab is just a bit to crowded for my taste so I usually leave it to the tourists. The pool at The Hard Rock also offers a waterslide, multiple bars outside, swim up gambling, and of course the famous cabanas where you can have some privacy (get naked if you want). Don't forget to check out the cool shopping and stores that The Hard Rock has available for its guests. You can shop in the sexy store Love Jones, or if you like Ed Hardy and Juicy Couture clothing then you can try the Hard Rock store located in their casino. The spa is another reason that people stay at The Hard Rock Hotel and let me tell you it's amazing. They also offer shopping at Sundries, Cuba Libre Cigar Shop and Rocks - The Jewelers. The Rock Spa is decorated in beautiful natural colors with wooden floors and rock accents throughout. The spas feature whirlpools, steam rooms, lockers, showers and vanity and relaxation areas, but a massage is gonna run you $100 (plus a tip which could be another 10%).
