Cell Phone Battery Reviews and Buying Guide:

It seems that everybody owns a cell phone nowadays (even children in grade school) with cell phone companies literally giving away free phones to customers who sign a service contract. Most cell phone plans range between $29 a month (which includes about 300 anytime minutes) and up to $99 a month (for unlimited night and weekend minutes with maybe 1000 anytime minutes). When you get a new cell phone they will all come with a battery, but over time some batteries will lose their ability to hold a charge and after an hour or so they will go dead. Usually a cell phone battery will last as long as you keep the phone although certain products are known to have a longer life expectancy. If you have owned a cell phone for 5 or more years the odds are you have had a battery go dead on you and you know how frustrating it can be. Like most of us, I carry my cell phone with me at all times and I'd be lost without it so I always keep a full charge on my battery.

We researched the top cell phone brands like Nextel, Ericsson, Motorola, LG, Samsung, and Nokia in hopes of finding the best deals on buying a new cell phone battery. The average cell phone battery will cost you about $20, although it really depends on what type of phone you have. We also reviewed a couple of the best cell phone battery chargers available today (solar, wall, car, etc.) so that you can always keep your cell phone working correctly.

Samsung Cell Phone Battery Replacement:

Samsung is a very popular manufacturer when it comes to cell phones and we found some great prices on their batteries at laptopsforless.com/cell-phone-batteries/samsung/. Buy Cell Phone Battery Charger:

Do you need to buy a charger for your cell phone battery? We all know that frustrating feeling when you are talking on your cell phone and it suddenly loses power and dies. Most cell phone batteries will hold a charge that provides about 180 minutes of talk time and 60 hours of stand by time. Obviously talking on your cell phone uses your battery power a lot faster than when your phone is just on stand by, so use your phone accordingly and be aware of how many minutes you have left. Most people either charge their cell phone at home with a wall charger, or they use a car charger that plugs into their cigarette lighter for mobile use. Pretty much any cell phone battery charger you buy today will do the job, but we reviewed some of the more popular battery chargers that we found online. We found a nice "Car Charger for Nokia Cell Phones" for just $8.99 that is perfect for you phone users on the go. Lightweight and compact, this cell phone charger is easy to carry and store. The EMERGENCY CELL PHONE CHARGER by Motor Trend is probably the most useful product we found because it fits Motorola, Nokia, Sony/Ericsson Nextel, LG and Samsung phones. More importantly this cellphone charger runs on 3 AAA batteries which means you will no longer be stranded without use of your cell phone. For only $14.99 this is a must have and you can buy it at jcwhitney.com. Although expensive at $89.99, "The Universal Solar Charger with Battery on Board" is an amazing product that lets you charge many Samsung, Motorola, Sony-Ericsson, Nokia, Gaming, and Mini USB products in about 6 hours with solar power. This charger lets you store solar power for use later on, you can find this product at earthtechproducts.com. The best overall website we found for cell phone battery chargers was at www.nextag.com/-cell-phone-battery-charger/search-html. Their directory lists hundreds of cell phone chargers with short reviews to help you find what you need no matter what brand of phone you have (Samsung, Nokia, Radio Shack, etc.)

Cheap Cell Phone Battery:

If you read our reviews above you noticed that buying a cell phone battery is not that expensive, but if you want to save a little money we tried to locate a few cheaper alternatives. Laptopsforless.com/cell-phone-batteries/ is an online store that sells batteries for all the name brand cell phones at some of the lowest prices we could find. They carry Ericsson batteries from $8.00 and up, Sprint batteries from $9.00, and we even found a few Nextel phone batteries for under $10.00. Another option is to buy a used cell phone battery, but this method is usually more of a headache than it's worth. You can check out a website like craigslist.com where they sell used electronic devices (computers, ipods, cell phone, batteries) in pretty much every major city in the country. When you buy a used battery you just don't know what condition it's in and for the few $ that you save you'd be better off just buying a new cell phone battery.
