Cingular Wireless Cell Phone and Service Plan Guide:
Are you looking to upgrade your Cingular service plan? I currently am enrolled in the $39.99 / month plan that Cingular offers which includes 600 anytime minutes and 5000 night/weekend minutes. This is a great monthly plan if you don't like to chat on the phone because 600 minutes is only 10 hours, and believe me that goes by fast. After you use your 600 anytime minutes, each additional minute will cost you 0.45 cents per minute (and that to me is ridiculous). Cingular offers a few other national plans that range from $59.99 a month all the way up to $199.99 a month. We have reviewed the most popular plans that Cingular Wireless offers so hopefully it will help you decide what monthly plan is best for you. 1. $59.99 a month with Rollover - 900 anytime minutes and unlimited mobile to mobile minutes, unlimited night and weekend minutes, additional minutes will cost you 40 cents per minute. 2. $79.99 a month with Rollover - same as $59.99 plan, but includes 1350 anytime minutes and additional minutes are 35 cents per minute. 3. $99.99 a month with Rollover - same as $79.99 plan, but includes 2000 anytime minutes and each additional minute is only 25 cents. 4. $149.99 a month with Rollover - same as $99.99 plan and has 2000 more anytime minutes. 5. $199.99 a month plan with Rollver - 6000 anytime minutes and any additional time is only 20 cents per minute. All of these plans come with the following: nationwide long distance, voicemail, call forwarding, call waiting, 3 way calling, caller id, text and instant messaging, multimedia messaging. I think the best value in any of their plans is the package for $79.99 a month. With 1300 anytime minutes the $79.99 rollover plan gives you almost 1 hour a day of anytime minutes and that should be enough time for almost anyone. Cingular also offers the GoPhone monthly plans that start at $29.99 a month or you can just pay in advance for the minutes you are going to use. Owning a Cingular Wireless phone (or any cell phone for that matter) is almost a neccesity in the world today with technology moving so fast. If you don't have a cell phone then now is the time to start shopping for one. You can find complete phone and service plan information at cingular.com.

Cingular Ringtone - Cell Phone Ringtone:
It seems that everywhere you go nowadays you are bound to hear a cell phone ringing and most of the time it's some annoying ringtone that the owner has downloaded to his phone. I don't mind hearing Metallica, or Hinder playing on a cell phone while it's ringing, but when I am standing in line at a store and hear dance music blaring out of some guys cell phone it makes me sick. Are you trying to download a free Cingular ringtone? I have had a cell phone for 7 years now and I'm proud to say that I've never downloaded a custom ringtone for my phone, instead I use the standard ringtone my phone came with. The reality is that a lot of people are shopping for ringtone downloads on the internet, so we have reviewed options for you here and hopefully we can save you a little time with your search. A great website for selecting ringtones is mixxer.com where you can create your own mp3 ringtones or search their catalog of premium ringtones. Usually ringtones will cost you about $1 each, although if you sign up for a monthly service you can save a lot of money in the long run. Another easy way to find ringtones for your Cingular phone is by going to the Cingular website at cingular.com/cell-phone-service/ringtones_media. I personally think ringtones are a waste of money and just a way for the average person to feel important when their cell phone rings in a public place, but if you are into the new trend then check out the links above.
Cingular Wireless Store - Rebate - Discounts:
Do you need to find a Cingular Wireless location near your house? Are you hoping to find a discount before you sign up with Cingular? I live in Las Vegas and fortunately for me there seems to be a Cingular store on every corner (ok so I exaggerated a little bit), but be careful that the store you walk into is an acutal Cingular store and not just some reseller. If you live in a place like Chicago or Florida you will have a pretty easy time finding a Cingular retail store within 10 miles of your house. If you are trying to locate a Cingular Wireless store in a place like Arkansas you might have a harder time locating a store, so be prepared to drive a little distance. Cingular offers a website online where you can search for the store nearest to you by entering your zip code, city, and state that you live in. Their store locator page is at cingular.com/buy/store_locator. The search page also lets you search by the service you are looking for like prepaid phones, bill payments, equipment upgrades, and even stores that offer service in Spanish. Occasionally you will see Cingular offer some kind of promotion or rebate for new sign ups (customers) or people who upgrade their account. Just last week Cingular mailed me an offer to upgrade to a new 3G phone (Sync phone) for just $39.99, or for $199.99 (after the mail in rebate) I can get the new Blackjack mobile phone which lets you download graphics, ringtones, send email, etc. as long as I sign a 2 year contract. If you are not a current Cingular customer your best bet for finding a Cingular rebate form is your local newspaper (Sunday is usually the best day) and of course the internet. We found a great website that offers Cingular discounts and special offers on a weekly basis, and you can find them online at happycoupons.com/coupons/cingular_wireless/.
Cingular Account - Customer Service - Text Message - :
I have been a loyal customer to Cingular Wireless since 1999 and for the most part their customer service has been good over the years. My favorite part about Cingular Wireless is that I can view my bill online at cingular.com and the fact that they bill my credit card every month so I never have to write a check or worry about late fees. At the moment I am signed up under their plan which costs me $39.99 a month and includes 600 anytime minutes, 5000 night and weekend minutes, along with free mobile to mobile (for all Cingular customers). Most of my friends and family use Sprint, T Mobile, and Verizon so I don't get much use from the free mobile to mobile that Cingular offers. Unfortunately my plan does not include roll over minutes so whatever minutes I don't use every month are just lost and can't be used the following month (I think that is a pretty tacky rule). My monthly service plan does not include text messaging so if I want to send or receive a text message I have to pay .15 cents each time I do so. Cingular used to charge .10 cents per text message until a few months ago when they raised the price by 50% (one month alone I had $40 in text message fees). I admit that I like to send funny text messages to my friends who live out of state, although I still think that sending a joke text message should cost like 1 cent per message (not 15 cents like it is now).
