News, Reviews and Accessories of the Motorola RAZR V3 Phone (T-Mobile):
The name itself is different than all the other phones we reviewed and we fell in love with the stylish look immediately. It truly is razor thin but still offers advanced features like video playback on the large color screen. The digital camera is perfect for the photo enthusiast who wants to be able to snap pictures on the go. With T-Mobile Megatones you can get wallpapers, ringtones, and high quality games on your handset. The phone does support SMS and IM, but as with most service plans, that is an additional charge. There is a generous talk time of up to 5 hours with stand-by at 9.5 days.

Motorola RAZR User Reviews:
I've had one of these RAZRs for about 18 months now, and would rate the phone about an 8 out of 10. My biggest complaint -- battery life. I'm not a heavy cell phone user, 1 or 2 calls per day, fairly short. But still I find this phone showing low battery power after about 3 days on standby. I'm not the type that likes to constantly charge my phone, but I find I have to with this thing -- whenever I remember, I plug it into the charger to give it a boost. OK, onto the good things. I can use this software called mobile Phone Tools to edit my own ringtones out of my MP3 collection and load them onto the RAZR (which has a USB port on it to connect to your PC) -- why pay for songs you already own? So the phone customization, with this tool, was pretty easy. The bundled camera is pretty typical for a cell phone - very limited quality and resolution, barely decent enough for viewing pics on the phone, not good enough for uploading to your monitor. However, it is a nice feature to be able to click a snapshot when on vacation or something, click the SEND AS SMS button, and quickly send the photo to someone else's phone to enjoy it. The size of the phone is of course awesome -- folds up tiny and tight in any pocket, no buttons to worry about being accidentally pushed, very light weight, and tough -- no significant scratches or damage that I can see after 1 year+ (and it has been dropped on wooden floors and concrete at least 4-6 times), wish I could say the same for my iPod nano! The buttons are a little close together and sometime tough to push the right ones - but that is the price of such a tiny phone. Call quality is average for cell phones I have used (on the Cingular network), nothing to write home about. Built in software features aren't bad, I've used the internal alarm clock a few times to wake myself up. Hardware buttons on side of phone make it easy to turn down ringer volume or set to vibrate, no need to go through levels of screen menus. So again, 8 out of 10. Would love easier access to ringtone files on your PC, would LOVE longer battery life, would love a camera that actually took really nice 5MP shots so you never miss a photo opportunity.
