Reviews of the New Sony Ericsson Cell Phones:

Sony Ericsson has some popular new models of mobile phones on the market and we wanted to mention and review the best "per customer feedback and reviews". The Sony Ericsson K800i is perhaps the hottest cell phone right now with the Cyber-Shot digital camera from Sony built in. It's a 3G phone with a 3.2 megapixel camera that has autofocus. The digital camera features image and video stabilizer, built in Xenon flash, and BestPic technology is great for capturing multiple images in quick succession. The K800i also has a music and video player along with PictBridge compatibility for easy photo printing and sharing. Owners say the digital camera is the most impressive feature with digital quality photos that are not blurry like older models. Sony brought us the Walkman and now they bring us the W810i Walkman phone. This cell phone features a stylish music player and a 512MB Memory Stick that can hold up to 175 songs. Consumers say the Disc2Phone music copying software that comes with the phone is what makes this phone so easy to use. Just copy your favorite songs from your CDs to your PC and then to the phone. The built-in 2 megapixel camera take good photos, but the 3 megapixel camera phones are much better. You can use the W810 for sending pictures, text messages, video and music to other cell phones or email addresses. We would like to see Sony Ericsson build great camera phones or great music phones, not try to combine them into one.

The Sony Ericsson W300i is a step down from the W810i, but still delivers an excellent mobile music experience with a 256 MB Memory Stick, the Disc2Phone music management software and the Walkman technology. This versatile phone lets you send text messages, use a built in camera, and connect to your PC for your music needs. The small screen is really clear, but browsing the Internet (as advertised) is still not that easy to do. The 4X digital zoom on the camera is handy but picture quality could still be better. The Z525a cell phone from Sony Ericsson is another popular mobile these days. This clamshell mobile phone has a good design and the color screen will make most photos or videos look crisp and clear. The point and click digital camera works well and the contact manager allows you to match a persons picture with their information. Other top selling cell phones from Ericsson are the W600i and W800i. The w600 is a swivel action phone with easy to use texting, but the 1.3 megapixel camera is lacking in many areas. For entertainment purposes the cell phone performs well with music playing ability for your favorite songs, ringtones, and mobile gaming action. We prefer the W800i to the W600i for it's superior playlist and music playing ability. The 2.0 megapixel camera is better than that in the W600 although overall design and function is very similar. Other top phones include the K750i, K700i, K800, K610i, W900i, w550i, and W300. Not all phones are available in every country or region, so check with your local cell phone provider for details on which phone you can get.

Best Sony Ericsson Camera Phone:

What better company to sell camera cell phones than Sony. Sony makes great digital cameras and has for years. Key features to look for on camera phones are at least 2.0 megapixels (3 if you can get it), 8X digital zoom, autofocus, and a good flash. The Sony Ericsson W710i is a 2 megapixel phone with video recording ability. The K790a is the best camera phone available from Sony Ericsson with Cyber Shot digital still camera and the BestPic technology where you can quickly fire off a set of images and later choose which ones are the best and delete the rest. You can connect the phone to a PictBridge compliant printer using a USB cable and print your photos without a PC. We have long recommended that cell phone users stay away from choosing a phone for a camera feature since cameras and imaging technology change faster than cell phone technology. Don't get a mobile phone that only features a good camera but no other quality features.

Sony Ericsson Ringtones:

Ah ringtones. Seems like each day we hear new ones as we walk down the street or wait on elevators. The "Fun & Downloads" section on the SonyEricsson.com site should keep you busy for weeks if not longer with all the online content for ringtones, games, images, and themes. You need to create an online login, but then you are free to download all the ringtones you want (for a fee of course). Just select your phone type and begin the multimedia experience that cell phones now offer. The online ringtone store from Sony gives you plenty of options for your music selections. They even have a "free ringtones" section where you can download various ringtones (jazz, rock, classic, pop, etc) for only the cost that your network charges for a download. Other sites offer ringtones that work on almost any cell phone and most ringtones will cost about $.99 to $1.99. The Disc2Phone software that comes with some Sony Ericsson mobile phones is great because you can turn any song you currently own on a CD (or on your computer) into a ringtone. Eventually there will be no market for ringtone content sites since people can create their own very easily at home and download them right to their cell phones with ease.

Top Business Mobile Phone from Sony Ericsson:

Businesses across the world are trying to stay atop the competition any way they can and cell phones are helping some keep a slight advantage. The Sony Ericsson P990i is an incredible 3G Smartphone. This is truly a communication machine that let's you do business wherever you are. The phone utilizes the fastest Internet connections and has an effective mobile office. You can synchronize calendars, the 3G video phone allows you video conference, listen to audio books, and you customize the phone into a GPS receiver with Wayfinder Navigator. "Handy" applications help keep your business side of trips in tact by helping to store business expenses and your daily schedules going on time. The Z710i is another business cell phone from Sony Ericsson that impresses even the saavy "road warrior" businesspeople. Although the phone offers some great features like synchronization to your office computers calendar and contacts, the screen size limits some visibility. The P990i is superior in many ways to the Z710i and if price is not an issue, go with the P990i.
