The current Verizon cell phones that are popular and free in many cases with a 2 year plan are the Motorola V276, Verizon Wireless CDM 180, LG VX5200, Verizon Wireless PN-215, Motorola T300p, LG VX3300, Nokia 2128i, Samsung SCH-a630, Kyocera KX444, LG Migo. The older the phone, the more likely it will be free with a plan, while the newer phones like the Pink Razor are not free, they are really hard to even find due to their increased popularity. Our favorite verizon phone is the LG Vx5200 with a digital camera, great color screen, speakerphone capable, speed dialing, and estimated talk time of 200 minutes. The ringtone sound quality on this phone was great and the ease of use around the menus made it a pleasure to dial on. As I mentioned above, the Pink Razor phone is a hot item these days and many stores have an "out of stock" sticker on those phones. Be patient and look around before you pay top dollar just to have one.

Verizon Pay as You Go Phones - INpulse:

All wireless carriers are offering a "pay as you go" system for people that don't want to be stuck in a 2 year contract. The plans from Verizon are called Inpulse. You can get as low as $.10 per minute with unlimited IN calling and unlimited night minutes. The phones are limited and you actually pay for the phone (so they are getting $$ from you no matter what). Unless you absolutely have to, you are better off with a regular monthly plan and a contract. The "pay as you go" phones are almost the same as leasing a car (a losing proposition in the long run). Camera phones are the most popular type of cellular phone on the market these days and there are some bargains to be had. Verizon carries quite a few camera phone models like the LG VX 8100, LG VX5200, Motorola E815, Motorola RAZR V3c, Motorola RAZR V3c in Pink, Motorola V276, Motorola V325, and Nokia 6236i. Although many of the camera phones take pictures that are ok to view on a phone, the actual quality for a pc screen is rather bad and mostly blurry.
