You take on the role of a Roman governor in this SimCity/Ages of Empire style game, trying to create and maintain a successful city that will attract immigrants and build industries. You start with enough funds for basic food and necessities, but as your city and population grows, they will of course expect other benefits like gladiator fights held at a large, expensive arena (no skyboxes in those days!). With beautiful 3-D details, your city will grow and include impressive architecture, gardens, and more -- if you keep the tax base up, keep your army ready to quell riots and repel invaders, etc.
