GoldWave 3.24

The ultimate WAV audio editor and special effects utility. GoldWave is a sound editor/player which boasts an impressive line-up of functions. GoldWave will open any of seven sound file formats (WAV, AU, SND...) into its editor, you can then use the floating palette or the toolbar to play/manipulate the waveform. The sound can be cropped and resized by dragging limit bars giving you complete control over the selection. Effects can be added from the toolbar or menus, flange for instance can convert voices to produce alien or wobble effects, or you can exercise full control over all the variables. Other methods such as doppler, mechanize, distortion and echo allow endless variations, so you can get just the effect you're after. There are many other more advanced features too, cue points remember specific positions within sounds and the expression evaluation window enables you to describe sound using mathematical equations.
