| Fix any errors you may have in your Windows 95 or NT Registry
The Registry is the central database for Windows. When you install, uninstall, and reinstall programs on your computer, Registry keys are created, modified, and deleted. Over time, your computer's Registry may begin to contain corrupted, unused, and unnecessary Registry keys. As a result, you may begin to experience problems when using OLE to embed objects or Automation to control other programs. RegClean is designed to clean up unnecessary Registry entries and this may make your system load faster. RegClean does not fix a "corrupt" registry -- it only fixes problems with some of the entries that are in a normal registry. Make sure you check out the ReadMe file for directions and known issues before you use this program. |
