This dramatic, animated screen saver brings to life the sinking of the RMS Titanic on the night of April 15, 1912. The background is a realistic computer-generated image of the iceberg-strewn Atlantic.
Watch as the ship steams along, spots the iceberg, and then continues on helplessly towards it. A huge collision rips the ship open, and as it begin to go down, a few lifeboats drift away from the disaster. The now-famous scene comes to life as the back end of the ship rises into the air, snapping the ship into two pieces. Then it goes totally vertical (see above) before plunging into the depths of the sea. It is complete with sound effects and music (which can be turned off). For all those who are in awe of the Titanic, this is a screen saver you don't want to miss, and which will never let you forget..The entire scene takes about 70 seconds to complete and then repeats. |
